Home / Land Clearing
ServiceBrush clearing, underbrush removal, lot clearing and fence line work for landowners from the Piney Woods to the Blackland Prairie.
Same machine, different job. What changes is how much comes out and what we leave standing.
Yaupon, privet, greenbriar, cedar and mesquite ground down to a mulch layer. The fastest way to make a place look and walk like property again.
Everything under the canopy comes out while the mature trees stay. You get a park-like stand instead of a wall of scrub.
House pad, driveway route, septic field and utility run cleared and ready for the dirt crew to shape.
A clean lane down the fence row so you can see the wire, run new fence, or keep limbs off a hot line.
Reclaim hay ground and grazing that brush has been taking back a little at a time for years.
Cut in a lease road, a ranch trail or a walking path wide enough to actually use with a vehicle.
Most build-site jobs start the same way: the buyer walks the property, loves the big trees, and cannot get to the middle of it. Mulching solves that first. We open the access road, clear the pad footprint, and take the understory out around the trees you are keeping.
Pad and setback area, driveway alignment, septic and lateral field, utility trench route, and a work area for the dirt contractor to stage in.
Stump removal, cut and fill, pad compaction and drainage. Mulching handles the vegetation so the earthmoving crew is not paying to push brush around.
Call or fill out the form with the location and rough acreage. A dropped pin or an address is enough for us to pull it up on satellite before we drive out.
Density drives cost more than acreage does. We look at stem size, how thick the understory is, slope, and how a trailer gets in. Then you get a firm number.
The mulching head grinds standing brush and small trees where they stand. No burn piles, no dump trailers, no gate ruts from hauling debris out.
You look it over while the machine is still on site. If a spot needs another pass, we make it then and there.
Typically $1,200 to $3,500 an acre in this part of Texas, driven by how thick the growth is rather than the size of the tract. Our pricing page breaks the ranges down by density.
On most rural private property in Texas you do not need a permit to clear brush. Inside city limits, in a subdivision with deed restrictions, or near a creek or wetland, rules can apply. Check with your city or county before a big job, and if there is any question about waters of the US, ask a professional.
Often yes. A tracked machine spreads its weight better than wheels and can work ground a tractor cannot. Standing water and creek buffers are a different story, and we will tell you straight if part of a tract should be left alone.
Mulching cuts at or near ground level and grinds the stump face, but it does not pull stumps. If you need stumps gone for a slab or a hay field, that is grinding or excavator work we can point you toward.
Sunlight is usually the limiting factor, and taking the brush out fixes that. On most tracts native grass comes through the mulch within a season or two without seeding.
Tell us where the property is and roughly how much needs clearing. We will get back to you with a plan and a price, not a sales pitch.
