A machine can cover several acres a day of light brush over grass. Put that same machine into a solid stand of eight-inch yaupon and it might not finish an acre before dark. That is why an honest quote asks what is standing on the ground before it quotes a rate.
Hauling the machine out costs the same whether we clear one acre or twenty, so that fixed cost spreads thinner on bigger jobs. The estimate above already accounts for it.
